the book is a collection of very personal stories
from seven young adults currently living in vienna with ex-yugoslavian roots
the interviews deal about the person approach to identy and home
how it feels to have no certain homeland, where 'home' is not naturally given, where 'home' has to be discovered first.

the photographs show the family life of my family members living in serbia
in the last three years - with 10 years of absence before - i began to visit my family in belgrade and a town called palanka to find out, what family means and if i feel connected to the serbian culture.
the camera functioned as a tool to span the hudge language barriers between us.
