RUMMEL HUMMEL (2013)
an unique time where philipp schömitz and me took part on an interim project at the bakalowits lofts in hernals (1170 vienna).
the property owner gave the building to freiluft kultur for free use before the reconstruction work started. the team of freiluft kultur organized several workshops, performances and film screenings. the great highlight was an weekend in september 2013 where artists from all kind of medias and interdisciplinary art forms presented their work. each room was decorated by different artists. in the yard there was a stage where local musicians played and in the former fabric hall a market with selfmade goods was set up.
while we were visiting the place for creating and developing our concepts, we spend a lot of time talking to the other people and artists. the time we spend there is an unforgettable and very precious experience. we also developed long and inspiring friendships for example with our friend max klebl, who paints and produces fine electronic music.
